The battery block
In the HPC Hybrid model, the built-in battery pack ensures over 9 hours of continuous operation without gas emissions, fuel consumption, or noise emissions. The special dry batteries can be recharged in less than 5 hours and have a guaranteed 100% charge/discharge cycle life of over 4,000 hours. The batteries can be recharged either by an external source or by the backup generator built into the light mast.
The backup generator
If the use of the battery pack is not possible in the HPC Hybrid model, the energy required to operate the LED lights is supplied by the diesel backup generator located at the rear of the light mast. A corresponding sensor automatically switches the generator on or off when the battery is charged or discharged, ensuring continuous operation of the light mast without the need for manual intervention. The generator not only powers the LED lights but also simultaneously recharges the battery pack.
Air-cooled Kohler KD350 diesel (1 cylinder, 3,000 rpm), customizable paint color available, hot-dip galvanized, automatic on/off switching with timer and dusk sensor. Additional special features available upon request.
